Glory
Glory is Act 3 of Slay the Spire 2, the upper Spire, whose Elites are the Knight Trio, the Mecha Knight and the Soul Nexus and whose boss is Aeonglass, the Queen or the Test Subject; at Ascension 10 you fight two of them.
Glory is Act 3 of Slay the Spire 2, the last act of the climb in Early Access, which Game Rant's Marc Santos places in the Spire's "upper stratas" where "even a normal combat encounter here can spell the end of a run"; its Elites are the Knight Trio, the Mecha Knight and the Soul Nexus, and its boss is Aeonglass, the Queen or the Test Subject. At Ascension 10, "Double Boss", you fight two bosses at its end. Aeonglass replaced the original third boss, the Doormaker, on the main branch on Jun 19, 2026.

What Glory is
Glory is the top of the Spire as it stands in Early Access. PCGamesN counts three acts in the game today, and Glory is always the third. Its Ancient pool is Nonupeipe, Tanx and Vakuu, with Darv able to appear here or in Act 2 (OP.GG).
Mega Crit has been moving difficulty into this act on purpose. Anthony Giovannetti wrote on Apr 10, 2026 that the plan is "to shift some of the difficulty from Act 1 -> Act 3", and the Act 3 changes since (Aeonglass, a single harder Axebot) follow it.
Glory has no alternate yet. Mega Crit's April 2026 roadmap lists "Alternate Act 3" after "Alternate Act 2" and a "New Character"; the August 2026 Neowsletter named only the Act 2 and the character as in active work.
How to read the numbers
Numbers are written base(higher): enemy HP rises at Ascension 8 and enemy damage at Ascension 9. The tables come from OP.GG's monster guides, read from the game data of the public beta v0.111.0 (Aug 14, 2026); several Glory numbers were changed on the beta only, and the rows say which. See Ascension.
Normal enemies
Glory's normal fights come from a fixed list. Mobalytics lists the Axebot, Devoted Sculptor, Fabricator, Frog Knight, Globe Head, Living Shield with Turret Operator, Owl Magistrate, a Punch Construct with Cubex Constructs, Scrolls of Biting (a pack or a trio), Slimed Berserker, and The Lost with The Forgotten.
| Enemy | HP | Moves |
|---|---|---|
| Axebot | 70-78(76-86), Stock | Boot Up 10(15) Block and Strength; The One-Two 10(11) x2; Hammer Uppercut 14(18), 2 Weak and 2 Frail (the Uppercut numbers and +10 Max HP per respawn are the beta v0.111.0's) |
| Devoted Sculptor | 162(172) | Forbidden Incantation (Ritual 9), then Savage 12(15) every turn |
| Fabricator | 150(155) | Fabricate (summons bots); Fabricating Strike 18(21); Disintegrate 11(13) |
| Guardbot | 16-20 | 15 Block |
| Noisebot | 18-23 | 2 Dazed |
| Stabbot | 18-23 | 11(12) and 1 Frail |
| Zapbot | 18-23 | Zap 14(15); High Voltage |
| Frog Knight | 191(199), Plating 15(19) | Tongue Lash 13(14) and 2 Frail; Strike Down Evil 21(23); For the Queen +5 Strength; Beetle Charge 35(40) |
| Globe Head | 148(158), Galvanic 6(8) | Shocking Slap 13(14) and 2 Frail; Thunder Strike 16(17) and +2 Strength; Channel Lightning 6(7) x3 |
| Living Shield | 55(65), Rampart 25 | Shield Slam 6; Smash 16(18) and +3 Strength |
| Turret Operator | 41(51) | Unload! 3(4) x5, twice; then Reload +1 Strength |

| Scroll of Biting | 30-37(33-39), Paper Cuts 2 | Chomp 14(16); More Teeth +2 Strength; Chew 5(6) x2 |
| Slimed Berserker | 261(281) | Vomit Ichor (10 Slimed); Furious Pummeling 4(5) x4; Leeching Hug (3 Weak, +3 Strength); Smother 30(33) |
| The Lost | 93(99), Possess Strength | Debilitating Smog (-2 Strength to players, +2 to itself); Eye Lasers 4(5) x2 |

The Axebots became one Axebot on the main branch. Major Update #2 (Jun 19, 2026) brought v0.104.0's change of the Axebots fight into "a single, more challenging Axebot".
The Lost and The Forgotten steal your stats. Each of their debuffs takes 2 Strength or 2 Dexterity from every player and gives it to them, and since v0.100.0 The Forgotten deals 1 more damage for every point of Dexterity it has.
The Fabricator keeps building bots. Its Fabricate summons Guardbots, Noisebots, Stabbots and Zapbots, whose HP v0.100.0 cut by 5.
Elites
Glory's Elites are the Knight Trio, the Mecha Knight and the Soul Nexus, per Mobalytics. The Elites page covers every act.
| Elite | HP | Moves |
|---|---|---|
| Flail Knight (Knight Trio) | 101(108) | Ram 15(17); Flail 9(10) x2; War Chant +3 Strength |
| Spectral Knight (Knight Trio) | 93(97) | Hex (applies Hex 2); Soul Slash 15(17); Soul Flame 3(4) x3 |
| Magi Knight (Knight Trio) | 82(89) | Power Shield 6(7) and 5(9) Block; Dampen; Magic Bomb 35(40); Ram 10(11) |
| Mecha Knight | 300(320), Artifact 3 | Charge 25(30); Flamethrower (4 Burn cards; 8(12) damage on the beta since v0.111.0); Windup 15 Block and +5 Strength; Heavy Cleave 35(40) |
| Soul Nexus | 234(254) | Soul Burn 29(31); Maelstrom 6(7) x4; Drain Life 18(19), 2 Vulnerable and 2 Weak |
Source: OP.GG monster guides (game data, public beta v0.111.0), read Oct 26, 2026; the Flamethrower damage is a v0.111.0 beta change.
The Knight Trio is three Elites at once. Together the Flail, Spectral and Magi Knights have 276 HP (294 at Ascension 8), and the Magi Knight's Magic Bomb hits for 35(40).
The Mecha Knight has the most HP of any Elite in the game's data. Its 300(320) HP and Artifact 3 make it a long fight, and its Charge and Heavy Cleave hit for 25 and 35.
Bosses
Glory's boss is Aeonglass, the Queen or the Test Subject, and at Ascension 10 you face two of them. The Bosses page compares every boss.
| Boss | HP | Moves |
|---|---|---|
| Aeonglass | 512(535), Artifact 3 | Ebb 26(32) damage and 33 Block; Eye Lasers 11(12) per hit; Increasing Intensity (gains Strength, adds 1 Wither card to every player) |
| Queen | 400(419) | Malicious (Chains of Binding 3); You Are Mine (99 Frail, 99 Weak and 99 Vulnerable on all players); Burn Bright for Me (20 Block, +1 Strength to an ally); Off with Your Head 3(4) x5; Execution 15(18); Empower +2 Strength |
| Torch Head Amalgam (with the Queen) | 199(211), Minion | Attacks of 18(22), Beam 8 x3, and two of 14(16) |
| Test Subject | 100(111) in its first form, Adaptable, Enrage 2(3) | Bite 20(22); Skull Bash 14(16) and 1 Vulnerable; later forms add Multi-Claw 10(11), Lacerate 10(11) x3, Big Pounce 45 and Burning Growl (+2(3) Strength, 3 Burn cards) |
Source: OP.GG monster guides (game data, public beta v0.111.0), read Oct 26, 2026. Aeonglass's Ebb is the main branch's 26(32): the beta v0.109.0 cut it to 22(26) "to lower its front-loaded damage", and the same patch gave the Torch Head Amalgam a first-turn Strong Tackle of 26(32) on the beta.
Aeonglass
Aeonglass is the newest boss and the one guides call the hardest. It joined the main branch on Jun 19, 2026, and PC Gamer's Harvey Randall described it that day as "a bit of a DPS race, pumping Wither curses into your hand that deal damage to you, ramping rapidly whenever the boss upgrades them". On PC Gamer's Sep 18, 2026 panel, Austin Wood called it "markedly harder" than the other two Act 3 bosses, Randall "a boss so far out of band that it could pass for the first taste of Act 4", and Evan Lahti said it "punishes you for being too all-in on shiv".
Aeonglass changed several times on the way to the main branch. v0.106.0 reworked its moves, its Wither status and its Withering Presence power; v0.107.0 removed its Ebb debuff and moved its Block onto Ebb, and made Wither impossible to upgrade with Armaments. Animator Chris Gortz wrote in the July 2026 Neowsletter that its rings run on a separate animation timeline.
Queen
The Queen debuffs everyone at once and fights beside a heavy hitter. Her You Are Mine applies 99 Frail, 99 Weak and 99 Vulnerable to all players, and Game Rant says she "starts the fight with a minion who deals a ton of damage", the Torch Head Amalgam with 199 HP.
Test Subject
The Test Subject comes back in new forms. Game Rant calls it "a three-phase boss fight, with each fight featuring different mechanics"; OP.GG's data gives its first form 100(111) HP and shows it Respawning with Painful Stabs and Nemesis. No source we use gives the HP of its later forms. Since v0.100.0 its second phase repeats Multi-Claw every turn instead of Pounce.
The removed Doormaker
The Doormaker was Glory's third boss from launch until Jun 19, 2026. Mega Crit reworked it four times (v0.100.0 to v0.103.0), then replaced it with Aeonglass because it "was over the complexity threshold of what we want and had lingering issues"; the Bosses page has its history.
Two bosses at Ascension 10
Ascension 10, "Double Boss", adds a second boss at the end of Glory only. PCGamesN's list words it "Fight two bosses at the end of Act 3", and TheGamer confirms that Acts 1 and 2 are unaffected. Mega Crit's May 2026 figures put the win rate at about 17% at Ascension 10. No source we use explains how the second boss is chosen.
Events
Glory has 7 events of its own in OP.GG's list, plus War Historian Repy (which needs the Lantern Key from the Hive) and the shared pool. The Events page has them all.
| Event | Choices |
|---|---|
| Battleworn Dummy | Setting 1 (a random Potion), Setting 2 (Upgrade 2 random cards) or Setting 3 (a random Relic), then defeat the dummy in 3 turns |
| Grave of the Forgotten | Accept: the Forgotten Soul; or Confront with Truth: add Decay, Enchant a card that Exhausts with Soul's Power |
| Hungry for Mushrooms | Big Mushroom or Fragrant Mushroom (which upgrades 2 cards) |
| Reflections snoitcelfeR | Shatter: duplicate your Deck, receive Bad Luck; or Touch a Mirror: Downgrade 2 random cards, Upgrade 4 |
| The Round Tea Party | Enjoy Your Tea: Royal Poison, heal to full; or Pick a Fight: lose 11 HP, a random Relic |
| The Trial | Judge a merchant, a noble or a woman as Guilty or Innocent for different rewards and curses |
| Tinker Time | Build a custom card, Mad Science, from a Weapon, Gadget or Protector base and chosen properties |
| War Historian, Repy | Unlock the Cage: lose the Lantern Key, gain History Course; or Unlock the Chest: lose the Lantern Key, 2 Potions and 2 Relics |
Source: OP.GG event pages (public beta v0.111.0), read Oct 26, 2026.
Most players free Repy. Mega Crit's April 2026 Neowsletter said 88% chose the cage, which gives History Course: on the main branch it replays your last Attack or Skill at the start of your turn, and since the beta v0.109.0 only your last Attack.
The Battleworn Dummy is a practice fight. OP.GG's data gives its three versions 75, 150 and 300 HP, a Time Limit of 3 and no attacks.
Tips from the guides
Plan for the boss from the first floor of Glory. PC Gamer's Harvey Randall says every boss can be prepared for because you see it coming, unlike the first game's Act 3 surprises; he thickened his deck in Act 3 for the Doormaker.
Against Aeonglass, have an answer to curses in your hand. Evan Lahti says the Silent's Sly cards answer the curses it adds, while an all-in Shiv deck struggles.
Ascension 10 doubles the end of the act: two boss fights in a row. The Ascension Guide collects the guides' advice for it.
